The A299 is crossed by the Crab and Winkle way here on a farmers accommodation bridge. The old route of the railway line can just be made out in this photo by the slightly raised banks either side of this modern dual carriageway.
There are quite a few signs like this that read:
"Cyclists please moderate your speed and give way to pedestrians"
