Because there are too many people not moving for cyclists

Southward-travelling vehicles have priority (including cyclists); however, oncoming traffic HARDLY EVER observes this when cyclists are coming under the bridge, making for dangerous passing beneath the bridge. Improved / more visible … [more]

Add cycle parking

The coastal route (NCN regional route 15) turns left here - unsigned.

Gap in cycleway (NCN route 1) because pedestrians might be crossing it.

Dead-end ahead - turn left through the car park and under the railway for the route to Wincheap.

Create a Dutch style roundabout it would encourage more people to cycle to Tesco's etc.

South Eastern should allow tandems off peak on the London to Kent Javellin trains so disabled people are not discrimintated against when they ride with their partners. Bad for tourism!

The A291 is incredibly dangerous for cycling. This is borne out statistics that show it is one of the most dangerous roads in Kent! Please implement the Herne Bay to Canterbury cycle route from the Transport Strategy.

Utilise the existing pavements into shared paths to give a tarmac traffic free route from Whitstable to Canterbury (the Crab & Winkle is lovely but too rough for a road bike.

Complete Crab and Winkle route to Harbour.

Increase current path width to the Department for Transport recommended 3m to aid safe passing of bikes and pedestrians.

Open up a route for people on bikes. Currently there is a very restricted gate for pedestrians only. This would immediately allow people to cycle along Preston Parade and bypass Faversham Road and a big chunk of Joy Lane. It would … [more]
