Despite the vast expanse of open space to the west of Spitalfields Market in London, there is no cycle parking provided. Instead, this sign can be found, which (if you notice it high up) reads:

"Bicycles chained to thist post will be clamped or removed without further notice."

Nice to know that Spitalfields Space Management Ltd has cyclists' best interests at heart, and is encouraging sustainable transport..
