Turn right (north-west) at the toucan crossing onto a short section of cycle path to reach the Northgate area of the city and the City Centre.
Turn left (south-east) at the toucan crossing to reach Canterbury Christ Church University (then follow sign for Regional Cycle Route 16).
Also follow "Canterbury Christ Church University" to reach Canterbury City Council's offices and to cycle towards Fordwich via NCR1. Almost immediately turn left along the "Falala Way" cycle path beside the playground, following National Cycle Route 1 signs.
