Cycle route signs at the edge of St. Stephen's Field. National Cycle Route 1 towards the University of Kent and the Crab & Winkle Way heads west here on the field side of the hedge. NCR1 towards Canterbury West station (not signed here) and Canterbury city centre heads south beneath the railway. A shared-use cycle path towards the St. Stephen's area of the city heads north across the field.
